On August 12, 2010 a man runs into an abandoned school. Detective Fujimoto chases the man step by step. The young man hides in a class room, but right behind him is a female high school student covered in blood and holding her breath. Meanwhile Detective Fujimoto turns and screams when Detective Akaiwa calls for him.
Several cars of people arrive at the abandoned school “Satogakuin”. They are “horror planners” who will convert the school into the ghost house “Tower of Sugar”. To kill time staff members Atsuo Kazuki Kato, Nao (Aimi Satsukawa) & Gohashi (Kento Kaku) roam inside the school and feel a strange sense of familiarity.
Atsuo walks around by himself. He becomes stunned when he finds an old picture frame in an office. In the picture, a man dressed in a white outfit looks just like Atsuo. At that moment a mysterious blue hits Atsuo and he loses consciences. Later, employee of Fujimaya Land and chief of the horror planning team Noriko Kishima (Megumi Sato) arrives and meets the detectives chasing the serial killer, co-worker Asakura (Ryosei Konishi) and the now conscience Atsuo.
Atsuo feels something strange in his head. He starts to have visions of bodies and ghosts covered with blood and suddenly he goes back in time to August 12, 1985. On that day a Japan Air Liner crashed and Satogakuin teacher Sato Takashi (Kazuki Kato) goes on a murdering rampage. Sato Takashi was known as a kind and generous person, but his mind was taken over by an evil entity. That evil entity now tries to take over Atsuo’s mind …

For their 20th wedding anniversary Kiyoko (Tae Kimura) & Takashi (Shingo Tsurumi) take a trip around the world. They encounter rainstorms and find themselves adrift in the Pacific Ocean until they wash ashore on a deserted island. 43 year old Kiyoko was an obedient wife in Tokyo, but on the deserted island she finds herself catching snakes to make food. Her husband has become weak and Kiyoko starts to believe he is useless.
One day, 16 men come to the island. They are a group of “freeters,” who ran away from hard labor on another island. They name the island Tokyo Island and start a community life by making different camps: Shibuya, Koukyo, Juku, & Bukuro.
Not knowing if it was by accident or a malicious act, Kiyoko’s husband Takashi falls down a cliff and dies. Kiyoko begins to live with Kasukabe (Ryuto Yamaguchi) like a married couple. Because of Kasukabe’s jealous personality, Kiyoko is not allowed to be near the other men.
Six more Chinese men, who were attempting to illegally smuggle themselves to another country, comes upon Tokyo Island. The Chinese men are more efficient in certain endeavors like hunting for wild pigs. Kiyoko goes to the leader of the Chinese men Yang (Ryushin Tei) and gets meat from him. Kasukabe believes Kiyoko traded sex for the meat. He rushes out shouting “I will kill him!” but is found dead the next day. The other Japanese men become scared that the Chinese killed Kasukabe. Only Watanabe (Yosuke Kubozuka), the sole person not controlled by Kasukabe, laughs out loud that a killer may be among them.
Oraga (Tasuku Emoto) comes to Kiyoko and tells her that the Japanese men decided to choose her next husband by drawing lots. First she is confused, but then consents. On the day of drawing lots only 6 men vie to become her husband. As a result, kind GM (Seiji Fukushi) becomes her husband. GM lost his memory while floating in the Pacific and Kiyoko has feelings for him.
But, Kiyoko soon feels trapped among the Japanese men who makes all the rules and lives peacefully. On the other hand, the Chinese men live more adventurously making plans for their escape and building a small log raft. Kiyoko becomes more attracted to the Chinese men. Finally the Chinese men finish their raft. Their leader Yang tells Kiyoko that if she wants to be his girl she should get on the raft. At first Kiyoko says no, but she gets on the raft …
